Stellar Coronae, a local brand based in Bandung, was founded in 2017. Since then, we have been developing a variety of craft products made from real flowers. Our products are inspired by and crafted from flowers that have been dried and preserved using various techniques, including Oshibana. Today, Stellar Coronae dries and preserves our own flowers, transforming them into one-of-a-kind products. We began with pressed flower frame creations and have since expanded our product lines. We now offer a range of wedding essentials, such as ring boxes, wedding bouquets, dowry boxes, and a diverse array of accessories suitable for various occasions. Starting at the end of 2025, we also started a new product line of fresh flower bouquets and arrangements. This expansion allows us to provide flowers from the start (in the form of fresh flowers) to the flower processing before they wilt, and using the dried flowers for other kinds of products, hence maximizing the use of our raw materials in creating a wide range of creative products. In addition to product development, Stellar Coronae is dedicated to spreading knowledge and teaching skills in flower preservation through regular workshops. Since 2023, we have also begun offering fresh flower-preserving services for brides, allowing them to immortalize their wedding bouquets for years to come.
Rona Puspa is Stellar Coronae's current featured product — developed to preserve the beauty of an orchid as faithfully as possible, capturing its form, petals, and colour as it transitions from fresh to fully dried. Each dried orchid is then coated in resin for structural strength and protection, before being adorned with carefully chosen gems and accessories that enhance its natural charm. The finished pieces are transformed into earrings, hairpins, brooches, and rings.

Stellar Coronae currently pursues three main initiatives in support of environmental protection. The first is reducing plastic use across our packaging and production as we reuse plastics received from our vendors to repack and regroup products during production, and have shifted our packaging to reusable fabric pouches that customers can repurpose as storage for their accessories. The second is actively separating waste at our office and routinely depositing recyclable materials at recycling banks in Bandung. The third is repurposing scraps and botanical waste from one product line as raw material for another, reducing repetitive purchases of new materials and resources.
Stellar Coronae has formed numerous collaborations with fellow local brands and artists, born out of studying our target market's pain points and seeking innovative solutions through partnership. To date, over 20 local brands, content creators, and artists have collaborated with us on regular product bundles, seasonal hampers, special collections, and thematic campaigns, many of them stemming from our gift, bridal, and keepsake product lines. In the past year, we've explored new types of collaboration with artisan brands such as Medividi (brass artist), Flo+Art (a Jakarta-based florist known for her paintings on fresh flower arrangements), and emerging artists such as Adriel Arizon (contemporary artist) and Terakudo (ceramic artist) as an effort to bring fresh variety to our product line while pushing the boundaries of what flowers can become, both as products and as art pieces. Stellar Coronae has also joined hands with Mortier, a local brand that transforms plastic waste into wearable and functional items such as card wallets, lamps, and handbags. In this particular collaboration, the plastic waste is lined with flower waste to create recycled floral pieces.
The core of Stellar Coronae's sustainability efforts lies in building a circular system, where both the upstream and downstream of our primary material, real flowers, are used as efficiently as possible. It starts with our newest product line, fresh flower arrangements: floral waste and leftovers are sorted and processed into dried and pressed flowers, which then become raw material for our accessories, trinkets, and pressed flower frame lines. From our dried and preserved flower arrangements, scraps and cut flowers that can no longer be used, due to size or lack of stem , are repurposed as small accessories or fillers for keychains and bookmarks. Looking ahead, we hope to expand this circular system further and collaborate with partners who share our vision.
In the next 10 years, Korona and Stellar Coronae will continue exploring handicraft items of various forms and sizes, in the ongoing journey to discover new ways to utilize real flowers whether as decoration or functional items, as long as they remain handcrafted. We hope to introduce floral handicraft to an even wider audience, and look forward to building a sustainable system, both for Stellar Coronae and for those we impact along the way.
