Jagad has collaborated with Koperasi GEMI to establish and empower a community of women from GEMI’s membership. This collaboration is part of Jagad’s commitment to creating opportunities for women to develop their skills, participate in creative production, and strengthen their economic independence. Through collaborative product development and production, the community members have the opportunity to contribute their skills while generating additional income. For Jagad , this collaboration is not only about creating products, but also about building a supportive ecosystem that empowers women and creates sustainable economic impact within the community.
Jagad creates a positive social and environmental impact by empowering local communities through training programs and community-building initiatives focused on ecoprint, natural dyeing, and sustainable textile craftsmanship. By sharing knowledge, developing skills, and fostering collaboration, Jagad Ecoshi helps create economic opportunities, preserve traditional artisan techniques, and encourage a more sustainable and conscious approach to fashion.
Ten years from now, I want to be someone who has not only built a successful Jagad , but also created a meaningful impact on the lives of others. I envision Jagad growing into an Indonesian fashion brand known for meaningful, sustainable creations rooted in local culture. I hope to empower more women and local artisans by creating opportunities for them to grow, create, and improve their livelihoods through the ecosystem we build together. For me, success is not only about how big the brand becomes, but how many lives can grow alongside it.
